Chicago Matrimonial Attorney Jeffery M. Leving Celebrates New Season for “Chicago Counterpoint” on CAN-TV
Chicago, IL – May 13, 2011 – Veteran, matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving, Father’s Rights attorney and author of the two groundbreaking books, Fathers’ Rights and Divorce Wars; will be hosting “Chicago Counterpoint” on CAN-TV re-launched May 19th on channel 21 in Chicago.
Leving will host various guests to discuss current legal topics in the news. Viewers are also able to call in with specific legal questions throughout the show.
Leving’s first guest, Leslie Arenson is an attorney of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, LTD. Arenson will analyze the legal and social impact of video conferencing as a form of long-distance visitation. She concentrates in family law and served as a volunteer at the Legal Aid Bureau of Chicago. Arenson was selected by her peers in the legal community as the 2010 Rising Star.
The show will be broadcast starting Thursday May 19th at 7:30 PM, on CAN-TV on channel 21. CAN-TV, Chicago Access Network Television, allows members of the community to voice their opinions on television. CAN-TV has five local, non-commercial channels that reach over 1 million viewers throughout Chicago.

Mr. Leving’s accomplishments include co-authorship of the new Illinois Virtual Visitation, Right to DNA Testing Notice, and Unlawful Visitation and Parenting Time Interference Laws as well as the Illinois Joint Custody Law. He has also delivered testimony before both branches of the Illinois Legislature on Joint Custody, Grandparent’s Visitation and Child Support Accountability bills.
Mr. Leving holds the governor appointed position as Chairman of the Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood. In August 2009, Mr. Leving was selected by the White House Office of Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships as an expert resource to join senior White House staff and other community leaders at the first White House Community Roundtable and Town Hall Meeting on Responsible Fatherhood and Healthy Families in Chicago.
