Chicago, IL – May 13, 2011 \u2013 Veteran, matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving, Father\u2019s Rights attorney and author of the two groundbreaking books, Fathers\u2019 Rights and Divorce Wars; will be hosting \u201cChicago Counterpoint\u201d on CAN-TV re-launched May 19th on channel 21 in Chicago.<\/p>\n
Leving will host various guests to discuss current legal topics in the news. Viewers are also able to call in with specific legal questions throughout the show.<\/p>\n
Leving\u2019s first guest, Leslie Arenson is an attorney of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, LTD. Arenson will analyze the legal and social impact of video conferencing as a form of long-distance visitation. She concentrates in family law and served as a volunteer at the Legal Aid Bureau of Chicago. Arenson was selected by her peers in the legal community as the 2010 Rising Star.<\/p>\n
The show will be broadcast starting Thursday May 19th at 7:30 PM, on CAN-TV on channel 21. CAN-TV, Chicago Access Network Television, allows members of the community to voice their opinions on television. Mr. Leving\u2019s accomplishments include co-authorship of the new Illinois Virtual Visitation, Right to DNA Testing Notice, and Unlawful Visitation and Parenting Time Interference Laws as well as the Illinois Joint Custody Law. He has also delivered testimony before both branches of the Illinois Legislature on Joint Custody, Grandparent\u2019s Visitation and Child Support Accountability bills.<\/p>\n
Mr. Leving holds the governor appointed position as Chairman of the Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood.
